Join Gather, Inc. this summer for a

Community of Practice

convening change-makers & leaders of the relational engagement movement

Why a “Community of Practice”?

In this post-October 7 world, research has shown that there’s a substantial increase in people of all ages becoming more involved in Jewish life. At the same time, data shows that Jews are increasingly finding meaning and community through relationships, whether those are formed within–and increasingly outside of–institutions. With this surge of people coming to our Jewish institutions, there is a need to deepen our engagement strategies by learning from one another and deepening our relationships to one another, our community members, and our Judaism.

Centered on Gather’s framework of Relationship-Based Engagement (RBE), our Community of Practice will gather together Jewish engagement practitioners from across the country to create a learning network of people exploring engagement strategies and practical tools to help us meet the unique needs of this moment through relationships.

What will this series look like?

This Community of Practice will take place this Summer. We will gather together for 4 sessions over six weeks to learn, share, explore, and expand our understandings of relational engagement with others practitioners and leaders. Facilitated by Gather’s Training team, you will gain theoretical frameworks and implementable strategies, along with concrete tools and resources for putting RBE into practice – and most importantly -develop a network of peers for continued thought-partnership and support!

Each session will include a full-group learning activity, followed by small group in-depth discussions. These small groups will be curated based on common interests, communities, challenges, and/or roles.
